Architectural Studies
My work with structural images is an extension of my love for architecture, including its design, shape, pattern, texture and use. I'm inspired by the work of Julius Shulman, Lucien Herve, and Ezra Stoller, among others, not only recording great structures, but also representing them in an environment and perspective that highlights their design qualities, function, and identity. Architecture has always been among man's most grand presentations within the broader scope of God's work in nature. It's the photographer who reflects upon these two elements in context with each other utilizing the correct perspective, light, interaction and placement within its communal/natural environment.
